The reemergence of western Jamaica's premier trade and business
exposition, 'Montego Bay Expo 2007', to be staged by the Montego
Bay Chamber of Commerce & Industry at the Montego Bay Cruise
Ship Pier, will also feature an exciting mix of cultural and popular
entertainment over three days, from Friday October 19 to Sunday
October 21.
In addition to showcasing over 70 booths with a range of goods
and services from manufacturing, technology, tourism, craft, agriculture,
trade and investments, the weekend exhibition will feature gold
medal-winning performances from schools in and around Montego Bay,
anchored by established cabaret and popular artistes.
Friday's opening ceremony will be complemented by children's activities
featuring a magician, face painter and clown, as well as performance
pieces by Barracks Road Primary and Supreme Preparatory schools.
A cappella group Khalil and Children of the Drums will anchor the
afternoon's musical offering.
