I have had the privilege of working with Half Moon, Jamaica for just three of its storied 60 years, yet the resort has made an everlasting impression on me.

Just a couple weeks ago, I visited Half Moon with my wife and had the opportunity to reflect on what makes the resort so special and so deserving of its diamond anniversary celebration. Foremost, the people who work at Half Moon - many of whom are third-generation employees and some whom have worked there for more than five decades - are the reasons the resort is so extraordinary; they have delivered one-of-a-kind, authentic Jamaican hospitality and have created experiences of a lifetime for countless guests over the years. I am certain that it is this genuine and world-class service that lures our guests back year after year and why this resort is such a popular destination for first-time guests as well.

For RockResorts, Half Moon is a valued addition to our portfolio of mountain resorts and offers our guests a warm-weather alternative where they can expect the same level of service and amenities found at our other boutique hotels, plus the expansive beaches and activities found only at Half Moon. Half Moon is the largest property we currently operate and is a very significant piece of our hospitality portfolio overall.
